€9.95

Compeed Discreet Cold Sore 15 Patches delivers up to 12 hours of continuous treatment to heal fast and significantly reduce scabbing compared to anti-viral creams. And, because it acts like a virus shield, the patch reduces the risk of contamination from the cold sore. It heals your cold sore at a comparable speed to acyclovir 5% cream, helping you get back to your unstoppable best – and fast! Each discreet patch creates an optimal healing environment and stays in place for up to 12 hours. The patch acts like a virus shield to reduce risk of contamination from the cold sore.

During an outbreak of cold sores, the Compeed cold sores patch, thanks to its ultra-fine hydrocolloid technology, will treat the cold sore like a wound. By absorbing exudates from the lesion and maintaining a moist environment, it will reduce scarring and facilitate healing and relieve pain. The patch will also protect the cold sore from the risk of contamination and make it less visible.

A cold sore is a group of tiny, painful blisters caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV). They’re also called fever blisters or herpes simplex labialis. Up to 90% of people around the world have at least one form of HSV. Many people feel itching, burning or tingling around the lips for a day or so before a small, hard, painful spot appears and blisters erupt. Small fluid-filled blisters typically erupt along the border of your lips. Sometimes they appear around the nose or cheeks or inside the mouth. The small blisters may merge and then burst, leaving shallow open sores that ooze and crust over.

Properties of plaster:

  • Ultra-thin hydrocolloid-075 gel absorbs the excess fluid for fast healing and provides the optimal moist environment to prevent scabbing.
  • Semi-permeable membrane allows the wound to breathe while protecting it from external contaminants such as dirt and bacteria.
  • Protective barrier against external triggers to reduce contamination and worsening.
  • Ultra adhesive and tapered edges so Compeed flexes with movement and stays in place for up to 12 hours.
  • Translucent patch blends in with the skin for ultimate discretion.
Do not not apply cream before use
  • Directions

You can use the Compeed Cold Sore patch at any stage of an outbreak. However, it is best to apply at the first sign of an outbreak – usually a tingling or itching sensation.
  • Dosage

Should be used 24 hours a day until the sore is healed.
A patch will naturally detach after approximately 8 hours and should then be replaced with a new one.
