Clearblue Pregnancy Test Ultra - When you want to know if you’re pregnant waiting to test can be hard. That’s why Clearblue Ultra Early Pregnancy 2 Tests can be used up to 6 days before your missed period, which is 5 days before the day you would expect your period to start (your expected period). Clearblue features an ergonomic design, including a longer, curved stick, and wide colour-changing tip. Our unique Floodguard Technology, which helps reduce the No.1 reported cause of user error and makes testing easier.

The level of human chorionic gonadotrophin (hCG) rises rapidly in early pregnancy. This rise in hCG can vary from woman to woman, and not all pregnant women who test before the day of her missed period will get a positive (pregnant) result.

Key Features & Benefits:

  • Over 99% accurate - If used on or after the day of the expected period, the Clearblue Ultra Early Pregnancy Test is more than 99% accurate at detecting pregnancy.
  • Unique Floodguard Technology - Clearblue is the first and only brand with Floodguard Technology which helps to reduce the #1 reported usage error by >70% and gives women results they can be confident in. The unique Floodguard Technology in the Clearblue Ultra Early Pregnancy Test collects excess urine that could otherwise cause the test to work incorrectly.
  • Innovative ergonomic design - A longer, ergonomically designed handle. A wider, colour-changing tip so the user knows that urine has been absorbed. A large, easy-to-read results window.
  • Easy-to-read results - A line in the test window and the small control window indicates a positive (pregnant) result. It does not matter if one of the lines is lighter or darker than the other; the result is still positive. A single line in the control window only indicates a negative (not pregnant) result. Women who receive an initial negative result when testing early should test again on the day of their expected period.
For in vitro diagnostic use only. Keep out of the reach of children. Do not reuse test sticks. If you have recently stopped taking hormonal contraception or are using fertility therapies, your periods may be irregular, leading you to test too soon.
Ectopic pregnancy, ovarian cysts, menopause and some very rare medical conditions can give misleading results. If you do get unexpected results you should discuss them with your doctor.
it’s important not to drink too much of any liquid including water or alcohol before you take a pregnancy test. It’s better to wait until you naturally need to pass urine. This way, you’ll avoid diluting your level of pregnancy hormone and getting a false ‘Not Pregnant’ result.
