Verrucas are caused by a highly contagious virus. They are often mistaken for corns and can be very painful. Verrucas are small lumps on the skin that most people have at some point in their life. Appear on your feet and have tiny black dots under the hard skin
Identifying a verruca by appearance and symptom:
- Surface of the skin is rough or granular and irregular in shape.
- One or more may occur at a time, with tiny brown/black spots in them.
- Most commonly occur on the sole of the foot, in areas of pressure and between the toes.
Cause
- Virus enters through damaged skin.
- Walking barefoot on damp floors is the most common method of infection.
Treatment
Carnation Vericap Verruca Treatment 4 medicated plasters packs contains padding which relieves the pressure whilst the unique salicylic acid paste helps remove the verruca.

Directions
For optimum results ensure your feet are washed and dry, which will ensure that the adhesive pad sticks for longer. -
Dosage
Once your feet are washed and dry peel a medicated pad from the backing paper.Apply the medicated pad so that the paste is covering your verucca.Only use the medicated pads on your foot for two days in a row. Then change for a fresh one.Use the medicated plaster for a period of 8 days, only changing them every second day. -

Contains 6.5mg of salicylic acid. Also contains microcrystalline wax and hydrogenated vegetable oil. -
