Calpol Infant S/F 60ml (Syringe) - Provides soothing pain relief such as tooth pain, headaches, sore throat and aches and pains that come with colds and flu. Calpol Infant Suspension starts to work on fever in just 15 minutes, it is tough on pain but gentle on tummies. Trusted by parents for over 50 years and is the only general pain and fever relief gentle enough for babies as young as 2 months, weighing more than 4kg and not premature. Each pack comes with an easy dose syringe. Calpol Infant Suspension contains paracetamol.

Children aged 2-3 months: Do not give to babies less that 2 months of age. Do not give more than 2 doses unless your doctor or nurse has advised otherwise. Leave at least 4 hours between doses. If further doses are needed, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
Children aged 3 months - 6 years: Do not give more than 4 doses in any 24 hour period. Leave at least 4 hours between doses. Do not give this medicine to your child for more than 3 days without speaking to your doctor or pharmacist.

  • Directions

    It is important to shake the bottle for at least 10 seconds before use. Wipe the plug and neck clean and rinse and dry the cap before replacing

  • Dosage

    2-3 months; 2.5ml and if necessary after 4-6 hours give a second 2.5ml
    3-6 months; 2.5ml up to 4 times a day. 6-24 months; 5ml up to 4 times a day.
    2-4 years; 7.5ml up to 4 times a day. 4-6 years; up to 4 times a day

  • Ingredients

    Contains 120 mg paracetamol in each 5 ml.
    The other ingredients are: Maltitol liquid (E965), glycerol, polysorbate 80, Sorbitol liquid (E420) methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218), propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216), ethyl parahydroxybenzoate (E214), dispersible cellulose, xanthan gum and purified water. The flavouring is strawberry and colouring is carmoisine (E122).

  • Storage Information

    Ambient

    Do not store above 25°C. Store in the original package.

    Avoid storing medicines in high temperature situations e.g. prolonged time in direct sunlight. Any medicine or packaging that seems to show physical evidence of deterioration (e.g. discolouration) must not be used.
